It's not a daily task, but rather a constant watchfulness with a website like mine. Add some images, delete, tweek, etc. But the other day I was stunned to see a totally different screen from the same URL that I'd been using for several years to administer my site. I double checked. Triple checked. Checked the link. Checked my Favorites link. What the ___? Website still up, just can't get to the control panel which means I can't change anything. Can't add, can't delete. WOW! Why won't the host reply to my pleas for help? Days go by. A sale! Trusty ol' Paypal sends me the email but it only tells me the amount, not whether it was one item or more... Still nothing from the host. Confirmation with the customer is adequate but now I can't remove the item from the site! What if someone else buys that again? (this was a one of a kind item).

TIME FOR A NEW WEBSITE

More or less pushed into it, I was pleasantly surprised to find it not so daunting as I had feared and relatively routine to not only find a very user-friendly template, but also what seems to be a well thought out design for people like me who depend on using images to show the world what we do. Thank you Silhouette.

I guess it's kind of like buying another house when you're not really ready. The transition is a bit scary and un-nerving. And even though the furniture has been moved, nothing is really in the right place yet. Just need some time.

Thanks for your patience!
